Yesterday while driving home from work; I find myself driving 60 in the fast lane behind a big truck (getting sand blasted). Looking to the right, I see the right lane is clear. So I pull into the right lane and buzzed past the truck at 9 PSI. After the truck was clearly behind me and before I caught new traffic; I slowed to 65 and returned to the fast lane (now safe from being sand blasted for the rest of the drive). Unfortunatly, I was in "I'm just going to cruise home mode" and I didn't study the traffic behind me very well. Later after the officer pulled me over; I learned he was only three cars behind me when I pulled this stunt. He was impressed with the accelleration and he understood why I did it, but he wasn't impressed with the move. Fortunatly, he was kind enough to limit my ticket to an "un-safe lane change" I am glad I had set my boost limit so low; if he saw 16 PSI, he would have sh*t. I wasn't over 65 for more that a few seconds but, if you don't pay attention who's watching..........The man will be talking to ya.
